Rob is the founder and CEO of The Against Malaria Foundation, which works to prevent the spread of malaria by distributing long-lasting, insecticide-treated mosquito nets to susceptible populations in developing countries. They have been active in 36 countries in Africa, Asia and South America, with a particular focus on sub-Saharan Africa. AMF is consistently rated one of the most effective charities in the world by independent charity evaluators. For six of the last seven years, and currently, AMF has been GiveWell’s #1 ranked charity. Rob’s background is in strategy consulting, event management and publishing. He studied at Cambridge University (chemical engineering) and has an MBA from Harvard. He runs the charity from the back room of his house in London. AMF (Australia) is an Australian registered charity with GDR status.
