Building a Theory of Change for Your Research

Research can be hugely impactful, but almost all research isn’t. One thing that can help maximise the impact of your research – including for improving your own career trajectory – is developing an explicit theory of change. In this workshop, Michael will overview what theories of change are, why they’re often useful for research, and how to build one. You’ll then practice applying these concepts yourself. (It’d be helpful, though not required, to come into the workshop with a research project idea in mind.)
