Join over 200 change-makers for our keynote event with some of the most exciting speakers at this year’s EAGxAustralia conference!

The keynote will be held on Friday, 8th July at the Kambri Cultural Centre (Building 153) at the Australian National University. Registration starts at 6pm, with the event kicking off at 7pm.

Rob Wiblin, Head of Research at 80,000 Hours and host of the 80,000 Hours Podcast, will be MCing, and there’ll be a great lineup of other speakers, including:

MP Emma Hurst of the Animal Justice Party

MP Andrew Leigh of the Australian Labour Party

Lily Odarno of the Clean Air Task Force

Tony Senanyake of IDinsight

Judith Rensing of Charity Entrepreneurship

This will be a fantastic opportunity for people new to effective altruism to learn more, and for people who are already familiar with the key ideas to hear expert speakers share their insights on doing good better. We expect this to be an extremely high-value event for those interested, so we encourage you to attend.

The Friday keynote will be open to the public, including to people not attending the full weekend conference. If you’re already attending the full conference, admission to the keynote is included in your conference ticket. If you’re not attending the full conference, you can claim a ticket for the keynote below. Places are limited so we recommend you reserve your ticket as soon as you can!

Tickets are “give-what-you-want” to Effective Altruism Australia, an Australian-based charity which directs funds to independently vetted charities with clear evidence that they save and improve lives.
