Animals Australia is Australia’s foremost national animal protection organisation. They represent some 40 member groups and over 2 million individual supporters. Animals Australia, along with our global arm, Animals International, has an unprecedented track record in investigating and exposing animal cruelty and for conducting world-first strategic public awareness campaigns. Their investigations have been featured on every current affairs program in the country including Four Corners, 60 Minutes, Today Tonight, A Current Affair, 7.30, The Project, Lateline and Landline.
Jesse Marks is the Director of Farmed Animal Advocacy at Animals Australia. Since entering the animal protection movement in the early 2000’s, he has been involved in almost every aspect of animal advocacy, running everything from leafleting sessions to national rallies. He is a fellow of the Australian Progress Campaign Fellowship, and has spoken at national and international conferences on topics ranging from campaign strategy and digital campaigning, to effective communication and outreach.
