Bridget Williams is the Manager of Effective Altruism Australia, a public benevolent institution that grants funds to charities independently evaluated to be highly effective at alleviating poverty and suffering. Bridget is also a medical doctor undertaking advanced training in public health medicine. She has a broad range of clinical experience; from metropolitan Melbourne, to the Northern Territory and Vanuatu, and has completed an honours degree research on justice in health care decision making at the University of Oxford’s Uehiro Department of Practical Ethics. She is currently studying for a Master of Public Health, working in translational and epidemiological research at a public health research institute in Melbourne, and is a volunteer team member for the Campaign for Australian Aid.
